Hello, ¡Hola!, Bonjour, Ahlan, Nín Hăo, Guten Tag OWL’ers!
Are you feeling it? The school year is really settling in. Maybe that honeymoon period of quiet, compliant kids is so far gone, you’re already counting down to Thanksgiving break (49 days, less if you’re only counting school days )
So, what can we do about it?! We can hone in on our classroom structure and make clear, predictable rhythms to our classes so kids feel the comfort of the circle while continuing to grow within the language. Using the PPATH Structure with precision allows for our students to thrive in the classroom of joy and student driven content, and yet allows us to drive the way our students interact with one another. Sounds easy, right? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back!
This October OWL is dedicating our time and energy to supporting your PPATH and classroom structure. Check out OWL on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We’re sharing guiding questions, articles, and teacher reflections all about PPATH. Looking for some guided instruction from OWL? Online PD this month is all about PPATH. Our first session was last night and there were some incredible takeaways! (see below) It’s not too late to join us for the next four sessions check it out here.
?Added bonus?- Our PPATH Interactive Notebook will be making it’s debut this month! What a labor of love this resource has been! This 50 page workbook for teachers will help enhance your classroom structure with tips, tricks, and questions to grow your practice! So many of you OWL’ers have been begging for this type of support for your classrooms, and we can’t wait to get it into your hands! This resource will be available in just a couple of weeks! Pre-ordering is available on our website here! |
