Monterey, CA In Person Training

We are excited for this two day training in partnership with International School of Monterey! This workshop is focused on the integration of IB Curriculum and OWL strategies, practices and values. The experience is dynamic, high-energy and interactive. The basis of Second Language Acquisition research and the consequent transference of these concepts to the classroom is the cornerstone of the workshop. The session will  be differentiated for the various experience levels of the participants. The session is framed around the values of Equity & Relationships, Proficiency, Engagement and Empowerment 

This training is unique in that there will be a focus on IB Curriculum in connection with OWL strategies.

• Techniques for high student engagement

• Model proficiency-based activities
• Strategies for eliciting student production at all ACTFL levels 
• Build collaboration and connection amongst participants
