Proficiency & Engagement Workshop – One Day
Learn how to create a kinesthetic, student- centered, proficiency-based classroom. This workshop explores how understanding National Standards and proficiency-based instruction strategies can create an interactive, student-centered classroom.
OWL workshops are conducted like an OWL classroom. Each activity and debrief experience can be replicated in your classroom. The experience is dynamic, high-energy and interactive. Manipulatives and visuals easily and effectively explain the concepts. The basis of Second Language Acquisition research and the consequent transference of these concepts to the classroom is the cornerstone of the workshop.
