Assessment & Feedback: Half Day Training- March Session
Assessment is more than an ending point; it is the constant cycle of accountability and feedback that informs our classroom practice. But, what does it look like in the classroom? This session will clarify the difference between performance and proficiency, while offering examples and samples of proficiency assessments and strategies to provide daily, empowering feedback to students.
We will also discuss how to focus on student self-reflection of their learning and how they can take ownership for their language level, though the assessments. Through a clear understanding of ACTFL levels and the OWL goals, teachers will leave this session feeling confident in their ability to provide effective feedback and assessments to their students.
