Bertina Hsu-Miller has been Germantown Academy Lower School’s Mandarin-Chinese and Pre-K-12th grade program coordinator since 2015. Prior to GA, she taught Mandarin-Chinese in 7th-12th grades for five years and elementary homeroom for nine. Aside from teaching, she and her husband also conduct professional development for coaches with Sport Education and Consulting. Bertina discovered OWL at a conference in 2016, and has been hooked ever since. The transformation of her classes was immediate and thrilling! Boot camps are her favorite professional development because the immersive OWL experience is always revitalizing and powerful, and she loves sharing the journey of growth with others. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys time with family, friends, dance, music, travel, and growing in faith.
